Is Vidya-Setu currently accepting donations?
No. Vidya-Setu is a proposed initiative currently gathering interest. Financial contributions will be accepted only after appropriate legal, banking and operational arrangements are completed.
Can several people support one student?
That is part of the proposed model. Supporters could contribute smaller monthly amounts toward a student's verified educational needs, rather than one person paying the full annual fee.
Can I contribute books or equipment instead of money?
Yes, we are exploring in-kind support for students, schools and volunteers. Items would be coordinated against verified needs when operations begin.
Will I be able to see the student's progress?
We plan a secure dashboard covering school-provided attendance, academic progress, achievements and contribution utilization, subject to consent, privacy safeguards and access restrictions.
Will 100% of educational support reach the student?
Our goal is to apply educational sponsorship amounts entirely to eligible educational expenses, without administrative deductions. Operational details, including payment processing costs, will be clarified before any contributions are accepted.
Is Vidya-Setu already a registered charity?
Not yet. This is a proposed volunteer-led initiative; registration and other required arrangements are still to be completed.
